UPDATE: Three injured in JUTC bus crash

Three Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) employees on Monday received minor injuries when the bus they were travelling in crashed in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

JUTC Communication Manager Cecil Thoms confirmed the accident revealing that at approximately 3:00 am on Monday, the JUTC bus was travelling along Sligoville Road when the driver lost control and the vehicle careened into a ditch in the vicinity of Thompson Pen.

Thoms disclosed that the driver and two co-workers received injuries but those injuries were not serious, however, the bus did not fare so well, and was badly damaged.

At the time of the accident the driver, along with employees, were in the process of picking up other employees from their homes.
