UPDATE: Slain Runaway Bay taxi operator identified; probe ongoing

The taxi operator who was found murdered in Cardiff Hall, Runaway Bay, St Ann on Sunday, was reportedly last seen alive with men in his motorcar hours before his body was found.

The deceased man has been identified as 53-year-old Howard Radlin, of Cardiff Hall in the parish.

His body, which had stab wounds, was found in bushes in the community on Sunday morning.

According to reports, Radlin was last seen alive sometime after 10:00 p.m. on Saturday with men in his Toyota Probox motorcar.

Hours later, a resident discovered the body of a man in bushes close to the roadway.

The police were alerted and on their arrival, the body was subsequently identified to be that of Radlin.

His motorcar was believed to have been stolen by his attacker(s).

A probe has since been launched by the Runaway Bay police.
