Two St James men died in a horrific collision involving four vehicles along a Northern Coastal Highway in the parish on Thursday.

The police have identified the deceased as 25-year-old Kevon Mills and 20-year-old Shadrick Robinson, both of St James addresses.

Reports are that Mills was driving his Honda Civic motorcar on the Ironshore main road towards Trelawny with Robinson on board, when the car became involved in an accident with another Honda motorcar that was being driven in the same direction.

Both cars careened across the road and collided with two other cars that were heading towards Montego Bay.

Five persons sustained injuries and were taken to hospital, where Mills and Robinson were pronounced dead, and the others were admitted for treatment.

The Coral Gardens police are investigating the collision.
