Two men held ‘with over 3,000 pounds of ganja’ in Manchester

Two men have been taken into custody following the seizure of compressed ganja weighing over 3,000 pounds in Manchester on Thursday afternoon.

Reports are that about 3:40 p.m., during an operation carried out by the narcotics police, a boxed truck with two male occupants was stopped along the Spur Tree main road in Manchester.

The compressed ganja was reportedly found in packages during a search of the vehicle.

The drugs and the truck were seized and the two men taken into custody for further questioning.

The narcotics police are investigating the development.
