tTech, Palace Amusement led gains during Tuesday’s trading
tTech and Palace Amusement led gains on Tuesday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
tTech gained 16 per cent to close at $5.97 with 100 units trading, while Palace closed up 10 per cent higher at $1,100 also with 100 units trading. AMG Packaging declined 6.5 per cent to close at $2.01 to lead declines on the day.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,097.78 points to close at 304,184.48.
The JSE Index advanced by 1,222.70 points to close at 295,755.80. The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 1,341.98 points to close at 324,609.33. The JSE Select Index advanced by 66.64 points to close at 8,934.06.
The Junior Market Index declined by 2.57 points to close at 2,955.94, while he JSE USD Equities Index closed at 161.45.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 50 stocks of which 25 advanced, 15 declined and 10 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 13,254,897 units valued at over $81.2 million. Honey Bun (1982) Limited was the volume leader with 9,434,940 units (71.18 per cent) followed by WISYNCO with 1,520,527 units (11.47 per cent) and Victoria Mutual with 474,525 units (3.58 per cent)
