tTech led gains on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) on Tuesday while AMG Packaging & Paper dipped 12 per cent.
tTech gained 8.57 per cent on day to close at $7.60. It was followed by the largely inactive stock Ciboney Group Limited (CBNY) which gained 11.1 per cent to close at $0.20. The day’s top loser went to AMG Packaging & Paper Company Limited (AMG) down 12.32 per cent to close at $3.06.
The JSE Combined Index declined by 4,188.19 points (1.51 per cent) to close at 273,917.19. The JSE Index declined by 4,184.72 points (1.57 per cent) to close at 261,830.51. The Junior Market Index declined by 30.96 points (1.01 per cent) to close at 3,044.47. The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 3.45 points (1.86 ) to close at 181.77.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 42 stocks of which 10 advanced, 23 declined and 9 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 4,694,501 units valued at over $86,267,154.39. Jetcon Corporation Limited was the volume leader with 1,106,601 units (23.57 per cent) followed by GraceKennedy Limited with 578,893 units (12.33 per cent) and JMMB Group Limited with 532,303 units (11.34 per cent).
