Triple murder rocks May Pen, Clarendon

Residents of May Pen in Clarendon were jolted by news of a triple murder there on Thursday night.

The deceased are three men, including two brothers, who were killed by yet unknown assailants on Chapelton Road in the town.

The men have been identified as Jerome Williams, 27, and Calvin Williams, both of Comfort district in Clarendon, and Bartholomew Blair, 41, of Bartons district in St Catherine.

Reports from the May Pen police are that about 8:30 p.m., citizens heard explosions and summoned the police.

On their arrival, a motor vehicle was seen with two bodies inside, and one of the men was found outside the unit.

All the men had gunshot wounds.

The crime scene was processed and the bodies were removed to the morgue, pending post-mortem examinations.

Police investigations are ongoing into the incident.
