Three officers promoted to deputy commissioners within the JCF

Three senior police officers have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner within the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).

They are Fitz Bailey, who is currently in charge of the Crime Portfolio; Richard Stewart, who heads the Administration Portfolio; and Dr Kevin Blake, who is currently assigned to the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB).

The Governor-General, acting on the advice of the Police Service Commission, has approved the appointment of three assistant commissioners of police to the higher rank, effective from June 1, 2020.

A release from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), the information arm of the JCF, advised of the top-level promotions.
