A search has been launched for three of four fishermen who got into difficulty at sea on Tuesday night, and have been missing since.

The four men were reportedly thrown overboard when their eight-foot, fibre-glass boat capsized while they were on a fishing trip between Rocky Point in Clarendon and the Pedro Cays.

One of the fishermen managed to swim to one of the cays, from which he was rescued by the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) Coast Guard.

The ongoing search involves the Marine Police and the Coast Guard, along with other fishermen who are desperately hoping for the survival of their colleagues.
