Another John Rollins Primary School student died Tuesday night from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident earlier in the day, becoming the fourth casualty of the crash along the Rose Hall main road in St James.

The latest casualty is the sister of one of the two female students -  eight-year-old Tiara Thompson and six-year-old Latisha Williams, both of Providence Heights -  who died earlier. The driver of the vehicle, Kevin Hamilton, was also killed in the crash.

Reports are that shortly after 7:00 am, Hamilton was driving his Toyota  Cressida motor car along the Rose Hall main road when he lost control of the vehicle which ran off the road and overturned.

The impact of the crash caused multiple injuries to all the occupants of the vehicle. The driver succumbed to his injuries on the spot while Thompson and Williams,  who were among the five students taken to hospital, passed away while being treated Tuesday morning.

Two other students who were injured in the crash remain in the Cornwall Regional Hospital in critical condition.
