Teen killed in St Thomas gun attack Loop News Created : 30 July 2018 Jamaica News The St Thomas police are yet to identify a motive behind the fatal shooting of a teenager in Lloyds in the parish on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Jevaughn Miller of Lloyds, St Thomas. His killing has since increased the homicide figure in that parish to 17 since the start of the year. Initial reports are that at about 10:40 pm, Miller and a group of men were walking along a section of the Lloyds main road, when a gunman walked up to him and opened fire. The lone gunman then fled the area. The injured teen reportedly died at the scene before the police were alerted. His death was subsequently confirmed at the hospital. Meanwhile, the other men, who were walking with Miller at the time of the shooting, were reportedly unharmed. Further investigations are ongoing to locate the teen's attacker.
