Supreme Events takes Sandz to Mobay

Party goers in Montego Bay are experiencing one of the biggest beach parties in Jamaica and the Caribbean, with Sandz underway for the first time in the second city at the Aqueduct Rose Hall.

Sandz organizer Supreme Events said the event was highly requested in Montego Bay. The event kicked off at midday on Sunday.

“Montego Bay being Jamaica’s top tourist destination has been a location on our agenda and highly requested by our supporters for quite some time,” Dexter Young, director for Supreme Events explained.

The Sandz brand has grown tremendously since its inception three year ago, tapping into the international market and branching off into the carnival space.

“We took the brand to Florida twice earlier this year which was a major deal for us. People in the states and the Caribbean Diasporas are fixated on the Sandz brand from previous staging we had in Jamaica so they have been anticipating the Sandz experience. Personally I believe the success from both staging is the brand’s biggest achievement so far”, Young added.

“It was easy to bridge the gap and transition our brand into the carnival industry. We’ve always wanted to do a Soca event so we decided to use the Sandz brand to venture into that arena. We were involved in UWI Mona carnival this year and we staged our own event dubbed Sandz Pit on Carnival Sunday. That event was great as patrons came out in their numbers to see what the Sandz brand had to offer once again. Our carnival test runs were successful so now we’re really looking forward to the 2018 carnival season” he said.
