Super Lotto jackpot at whopping $220.5 million

A whopping J$220.5 million dollars will be up for grabs in the upcoming Super Lotto draw on Tuesday, October 11.

Supreme Ventures Limited is encouraging everyone to try their luck with this Tuesday’s draw by purchasing a potentially life-changing ticket.

“This is a significant amount of money that can make a profound difference in someone’s life,” said Simone Clarke-Cooper, Assistant Vice President, Group Corporate Communications, Supreme Ventures Limited.
She continued: “We’ve seen people win and be able to accomplish their lifetime goals - whether it is purchasing a home, providing first class education for their children, starting a business or ensuring a very comfortable retirement. All it takes is one ticket.”
“As we say – if you have no ticket, you have no chance. So we are encouraging everyone to purchase their tickets for Tuesday’s draw. There’s little to lose and $220.5 million to gain. All the more reason to play - you never know if you could be the next Super Millionaire!”
Persons have the chance of winning the entire advertised jackpot of $220.5 million when they purchase tickets at the full cost of $300.  Alfred Bryan, an avid player from Clarendon says “I have been playing for years, and purchase my tickets each week. If you don’t have a ticket, then you won’t stand a chance of winning! If I win, I would buy some houses, go into the transportation business and make some foreign investments,” Bryan said.
This multimillion dollar jackpot comes on the heels of the last Jamaican Super Lotto winner, Mr A Murray, who won J$250 million in July of this year. Murray purchased his winning ticket using the quick pick method and became a Super Millionaire.
In anticipation of Tuesday’s draw, players are being encouraged to not only purchase their tickets but also retain and secure them until the validation process is complete.  This is done by checking for the gaming results during the live draw, which is broadcast on TVJ and simultaneously on IRIE FM and Hitz FM at 8:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Players can also check all national newspapers which publish the draw results the following day.
The Super Lotto multi-jurisdictional game is the first game of its kind in the Caribbean and Latin America.  Participating territories include: Jamaica, Barbados, St. Kitts & Nevis, Anguilla, Antigua, St. Maarten, the US Virgin Islands and Paraguay.
