“The year has started off with amazing promise for the winner of the Super Lotto Jackpot. We’re encouraging our customers to buy their tickets because, as we always say, no ticket, no chance,” said AVP, Group Corporate Communication, Simone Clarke-Cooper.
“Sometimes people want to get involved and they don’t because they think, ‘it could never be me’. The truth is that it actually could,” she continued.
Super Lotto tickets can be bought at any Supreme Ventures outlet island-wide for $200 or $300. A $200 ticket win would result in a (split amount) payout of $156.3 million, while the $300 ticket would pay the full $260.5 million. The last jackpot of $250 million was won in July, 2016. There was one other Super Lotto winner in January of last year, who hailed from St Maarten.
Super Lotto is a multi-jurisdictional game, played in Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Jamaica, Paraguay, St Kitts and Nevis, St Maarten and the US Virgin Islands. To date there have been five winners from Jamaica.
“Becoming a Super Millionaire would be a great way to start 2017, so we encourage our customers to buy the ticket that just may change your life,” said Cooper.
