The Super Lotto jackpot is now at a whopping $301 million.

Simone Clarke-Cooper, assistant vice president, corporate communications,  at gaming company Supreme Ventures, described it as "a life-changing jackpot" in a press release.

"If it’s one thing we have learnt about Super Lotto from previous winners is that there is a chance to win it. But you have to be in it, and that’s where your ticket comes in,” she said.

In order to win Super Lotto, players must choose five numbers and the Super Ball. Players can purchase a $300 ticket for the full jackpot or $200 that will entitle them to 60 per cent of the jackpot.

Clarke-Cooper urged players to not only purchase a ticket but also to keep it safe.

Your winning ticket is just like money, so treat it in the same manner that you would treat your money, she said.

Super Lotto, the first of its kind in the Caribbean is sold simultaneously in Jamaica, Barbados, St Kitts & Nevis, Anguilla, Antigua, St Maarten, the US Virgin Islands, and Paraguay.
