Jamaica's Sunshine Girls played with flair and confidence to record a famous 70-66 victory over England in the final group match of the Nations Cup netball at London's Copper Box Arena on Saturday.

The win made it two from three for the Sunshine Girls at the Nations Cup tournament. The Jamaicans will play New Zealand in Sunday's final after the Silver Ferns grind past South Africa 48-41 to maintain their unbeaten start to the year.

The final will be the second match between the teams in the tournament as on Thursday the Ferns outclassed the Sunshine Girls 71-45 in Birmingham.

On Saturday, England produced a stirring comeback from 14 goals down in the final quarter but Jamaica held firm.

At one stage, England defenders Stacey Francis and Kate Shimmin double-marked Jhaniele Fowler in an attempt to restrict pass to the 6ft 6in tall shooter. However, the Sunshine Girls counteract that tactic, switching passes to goal attack Shanice Beckford to set up shots instead.

The loss for England means that they will face South Africa in the third versus fourth place play-off, also on Sunday.
