Stewart’s Automotive shifts into beast mode with new Mitsubishi L200
Duncan Stewart, Director at Stewart’s Automotive Group, checks out the new 2020 Mitsubishi L200 at the 49 ½ South Camp Road location with Mitsubishi Brand Manager, Maria Phillpotts.
Stewart’s Automotive Group, in association with Mitsubishi Motors, has officially launched the all-new 2020 Mitsubishi L200 pickup, just in time for the holiday season.
The award-winning 2020 L200 boasts a completely new look! Mitsubishi’s new Dynamic Shield concept, a theme that’s gradually appeared on all of Mitsubishi’s SUVs from the ASX to the Montero Sport, powerfully expresses high performance and a sense of protection.
The 2020 L200 now rocks a much more masculine aesthetic complete with chiselled cheekbones, chrome trims and slim-line LED projector headlamps.

As saving the environment becomes increasingly more important, the 2020 L200, with its 2.4 litre MIVEC turbo diesel engine, has dramatically improved its fuel efficiency and lowered CO2 emissions while still delivering a powerful response.
This is thanks to a lightweight all-aluminium alloy engine block and precision common rail direct injection system. In addition, the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission model is equipped with Sport Mode that allows you to easily shift up or down with the flick of a lever for sporty, manual-like driving pleasure.
“At Mitsubishi Motors, we pride ourselves on providing drivers with unmatched driving experiences on the road and the 2020 L200 lives up to this tradition - it truly redefines comfort, style, efficiency and power. It’s competitively priced and includes a host of new features,” boasts Mitsubishi Brand Manager, Maria Phillpotts.
Ample storage capacity and durability are matched with great looks and spacious comfort that your travelling companions will appreciate. “The spacious double-cab makes this vehicle a ride for everyone, anywhere – whether you’re navigating the rugged terrains of our roads or travelling with family or friends for an out-of-town adventure,” Phillpotts added.
This added comfort, however, does not take away from the L200’s amazing work capabilities. The L200 currently features a class-leading 5.9M turning radius, a payload of 1,060kg, towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes, and improved drivability both on and off the road. For the drivers with off-roading needs, the reliable Super Select 4WD system traction combines with an advanced suspension to keep you in touch with surface conditions so you stay in firm control whether you’re driving on normal road conditions, steep hills, mud or sand. The Easy Select 4WD allows drivers to switch from smooth 2WD (2H) highway performance to rugged 4WD (4H) traction while driving at up to 100km/h.
The brand-new Mitsubishi L200 sits proudly in the Mitsubishi Showroom at 49 ½ South Camp Road, ready to test its prowess on the Jamaican roads.
