Sterling, Paramount, Derrimon led gains during Monday's trading

Sterling Investments (SIL), Paramount (PTL) and Derrimon Trading (DTL) led gains during Monday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Sterling gained 12.4 per cent to close at $3.99 with roughly 51,220 units. It was followed by PTL up 8.7 per cent to close at $2.50 with just 1,000 units. DTL gained 8.2 per cent on the day to close at $2.65.
The top declining stock was Ttech down 8.3 per cent to close at $5.50.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 650.82 points (0.17 per cent) to close at 391,290.52. The JSE Index advanced by 271.62 points (0.07 per cent) to close at 388,548.53.
The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 298.91 points (0.07 per cent) to close at 426,479.51. The Junior Market Index advanced by 36.42 points (1.18 per cent) to close at 3,128.44. The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 0.45 points (0.26 per cent) to close at 176.24. The JSE Financial Index declined by 0.38 points (0.38 per cent) to close at 98.76.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 59 stocks of which 26 advanced, 27 declined and 6 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 9.5 million units valued at over $76.4 million. Fosrich was the volume leader with 4,014,634 units (42.2 per cent) followed by Pulse Investments with 3,309,323 units (34.8 per cent) and GraceKennedy with 288,330 units (3.0 per cent) .
