Dr Sade Dunbar, who is also a JEP past scholarship recipient, conducts a medical consultation at one of the company’s past Health and Wellness Fairs. She will be part of the team of doctors at the Old Harbour Bay Primary School this Friday.

On Friday, June 12, 120 residents from Old Harbour Bay will benefit from free medical consultations and subsidised pharmaceuticals courtesy of Jamaica Energy Partners (JEP) at its annual Health and Wellness Fair.

The fair will be held at the Old Harbour Bay Primary School in St Catherine.

In keeping with the current social distancing protocols stipulated by the local health authorities due to COVID-19, this year’s staging will only serve the 120 persons who received appointments during the pre-registration phase.

The appointment schedule, which commences 9 am to 4.30 pm will facilitate no more than ten patients at a time, the energy group said in a press release.

"Safeguarding the health and well-being of the residents, our staff and partners is paramount, as such, the company will not offer the usual dental services, but only those where proper safety/social distancing procedures can be maintained," JEP said.

JEP said its corporate social responsibility team has been working closely with the Public Health Department to ensure that all protocols are observed.

Residents can also look forward to prostate counselling, pap smears, giveaways from the National Health Fund as well as services from Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) and the Registrar General’s Department (RGD).

“We are asking all those registered to please be on time, comply with our sanitising/COVID-19 safety protocols, wear a mask and remember to walk with an ID, TRN and their insurance card,” JEP said, adding that it looks forward to another successful year.
