After being unceremoniously transferred from her post as head of the Constabulary Communications Unit (CCU), Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay is now back at the helm of the constabulary’s communication arm.
Lindsay was reappointed to the post by Police Commissioner, Major General Antony Anderson.
Following the seizure by US Customs of an arsenal of guns and ammunition destined for Montego Bay, Lindsay was reportedly transferred after sensitive information was released in the public space by the unit.
Lindsay's appointment becomes effective on Monday, December 9 and is expected to strengthen the strategic communications of the Force.
It is also part of the ongoing transformation of various departments to make the JCF a more transparent, efficient and effective organisation and 'A Force for Good', a release from the CCU stated.
