SHE’S A MANEATER easily won Saturday’s six-furlong None Such Sprint Trophy for the second year running at Caymanas Park, avenging her fourth-place finish to ANOTHER BULLET in April’s Lady Geeta Trophy.

The 2017 Horse of the Year, broke sharply from post-position three in the five-horse field, leaving ANOTHER BULLET and MONEY MAGNET chasing in vain.

Straightening two lengths clear of ANOTHER BULLET and MONEY MAGNET, SHE’S A MANEATER stayed on strongly with topweight 126lb under Omar Walker, allowing ANOTHER BULLET 12lb in a three-and-three quarter length win, clocked in 1:11.0.

Champion jockey Anthony Thomas landed the late double, UNCLE FREDDIE, and SAINT MICHAEL, joining Aaron Chatrie with two winners on the afternoon. Chatrie booted home LALALA BAMBA at odds of 6-1 in the fourth and rounded off his two-timer astride 7-2 chance LADY BUDGET in the sixth.

Leading rider Christopher Mamdeen took his tally to 55 winners aboard 4-5 favourite, HOLOGRAM SHADOW, in the eighth event, 12 clear of fellow apprentice Reyan Lewis heading into Wednesday’s meet.
