Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta’s 2017 Horse of the Year, SHE’S A MANEATER, faces one serious rival in a five-horse field for Saturday’s seven-furlong Gold Cup, Patrick Lynch’s ANOTHER BULLET, who she beat in her last two races.

SHE’S A MANEATER has been racing against seven-year-old ANOTHER BULLET since she was three. At five, she has only lost once to her rival, in April’s Lady Geeta Trophy at six furlongs, arguably her worst-ever performance, finishing fourth.

Aiming at a fifth win from six starts this year, SHE’S A MANEATER, who has 21 victories from 27 career starts, should easily add the Gold Cup to her overflowing trophy case.

Blazing the exercise track in the mornings, SHE’S A MANEATER has other major events lined up for the remainder of the season including a shot at a third-straight Superstakes victory in October and November’s Diamond Mile.

Omar Walker is aboard SHE’S A MANEATER for the 2:50pm Gold Cup, the fifth of 11 events on the Caymanas Park programme. First post is 11:50am.
