Top grade-one campaigner SHE’S A MANEATER is the overwhelming favourite to defend her six-furlong None Such Sprint Trophy title at Caymanas Park on Saturday with six-time champion jockey, Omar Walker, aboard for 18-time champion trainer, Wayne DaCosta.

The versatile 2017 Horse of the Year, Triple Crown, two-time Superstakes and Diamond Mile winner faces three stablemates as well as MONEY MAGNET and ANOTHER BULLET, who scored a stunning 27-1 upset in April’s Lady Geeta Trophy at five and a half furlongs.

SHE’S A MANEATER carried topweight in the Lady Geeta and ran a listless race from an inside draw, finishing fourth on her second outing of the season. However, she returned in May to chase and beat WILL IN CHARGE in the Legal Light Trophy at nine furlongs and 25 yards.

Catching birds at exercise since, SHE’S A MANEATER reeled off 1:05.0 for five and a half furlongs on Monday, making her hard to beat, even with topweight.

Though he’s in receipt of 14lb from SHE’S A MANEATER, ANOTHER BULLET will not be able to escape the five-year-old mare down the backstretch, nor will he be able to out finish her in a race with no real pace.

The None Such Sprint is the fifth of 10 events scheduled, set to run off at 3:05 p.m. First post is 12:40 p.m.
