Sergeant Cecil McCalla, former General Secretary of the Police Federation, is now the new Chairman, while Inspector Sheldon Gordon is the new General Secretary.

The announcement was made on Wednesday after the federation's weekly executive meeting.

Inspector Sheldon Gordon

Sergeant McCalla assumes the chairmanship of the federation following the recent promotion of Sergeant Raymond Wilson, the long-serving, firebrand Chairman, to the rank of assistant superintendent, which took him outside the rank and file membership of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), which is represented by the federation.

Police personnel from the rank of constable to inspector are represented by the federation.
