Second conviction for Central Village’s ‘Clarks Booty’
Fredrick ‘Clarks Booty’ Braham, the reputed Central Village don who recently pleaded guilty in the Corporate Area Gun Court to illegal possesion of a firearm and ammunition, has pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a second firearm.
Braham last month pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, offences committed in 2012 in the Rocklands community of Central Village, St Catherine.
He had absconded bail and was on the run for six years before being held in 2018 with another illegal weapon by the St Catherine South Special Operations Unit, after being the target of dozens of operations launched in search of him.
Braham pleaded guilty to the second gun charge when he appeared in the Corporate Area Gun Court on Wednesday. He is to be sentenced on both illegal weapon-possession charges in March.
Braham was charged under multiple identities after giving the investigating officer, Constable Michael Edwards of the St Catherine South Special Operations Unit, three different names when held with a 9mm pistol inside his shoe.
Having spent more than a year in custody on the first charge, Braham changed his plea, represented by attorney Everton Bird, when he appeared before Justice Bertram Morrison.
