Sagicor Bank offers loan clients payment holiday for festive season

With the festive season fast approaching, Sagicor Bank has an early Christmas gift for its retail loan clients - the bank announced that effective November 1, 2018, all existing loan clients can apply for a payment holiday and pay nothing until January 2019.

"At Sagicor Bank we truly value our clients and we know and understand that as we enter into the yuletide holiday season the spending pattern and needs of our clients change and we want to help ease some of the added financial strain they may face during this time", stated Michael Willacy, Vice President for Corporate, SME and Retail banking at Sagicor Bank.

This announcement comes just several weeks following the launch of the Bank’s mortgage campaign, which offers new residential mortgage clients a 7.5 per cent interest on their loan. In addition to the low interest rate, there is also a sweetener of a three-month moratorium on principal and interest payments, plus a pre-approved credit card with 20,000 bonus points. The bank will also cover the cost for credit reports for new mortgagors until the end of this year.

“We want to be there for our clients at every stage and phase of their lives; whether it is buying a house or even preparing for the Christmas holidays we know that these occasions mean a lot to many persons and we make these special moments as memorable as possible.
