Champion trainer Anthony Nunes got his title defence going with a two-timer on Saturday, including ROHAN KABIR, at odds of 8-1, in the City of Kingston Centenary Cup at a mile.

ROHAN KABIR went in chase of stablemate UNIVERSAL BOSS at the top of the straight to win by five lengths with Barbadian Simon Husbands.

Nunes saddled the first three past the post in the seven-horse field as 1-2 favourite BIGBANG closed for second close home, relegating UNIVERSAL BOSS to third.

A Soul Warrior-Raise Your Voice, four-year-old gelding, ROHAN KABIR was logging his second victory in four starts for Nunes, clocking 1:40.1.

Nunes had earlier won with 1-9 favourite, PATRIARCH, who made all with Dane Nelson at five furlongs straight, beating CAMPESINO by four lengths in the second event.

Meanwhile, Spencer Chung's four-year-old filly, TRULY AMAZING, remained unbeaten in three starts, clocking 58.0 at five furlongs straight, beating SIR KEL by five lengths in the sixth event.

Racing continues at Caymanas Park on Saturday.
