A record number of 18 females have registered for the FIFA Intermediary Coaching Course for coaches of female players.
The course will begin at Monday at 9:30 am and will be held at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Center of Excellence.
Having more females coaching, playing, refereeing and in administration, is one of the main strategic goals of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) for the development of the women's game in Jamaica. As a result former players as well as coaches who are Advanced Level I and II certified were targeted for the course.
The course will be under the direction of FIFA Instructor, Andrea Rodebaugh. She will be assisted by National Under 17 Girl's coach, Toni Cowan.
The course lasts until Friday, October 6 with classes each day from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
