Junior Brand Manager of Mother’s Canteens, Tahji Whittaker (left), hands over J$500,000 to the members of The Queen's School delegation ahead of the 2019 staging of the Penn Relay.

Mother's Enterprises Limited contributed J$1 million to two schools - Queen's and Jamaica College (JC) - to assist them in attending last week's Penn Relays in Pennsylvania, USA.

Mother's operates eight canteens island wide, including at Queen's and JC.

Whittaker is all smiles as he hands over J$500,000 to the members of the Jamaica College delegation.

"We see ourselves as part of all our school families, so what matters to them, matters to us. So, of course, we were on board when Queen's requested support for the Penn Relays. Jamaica College, another renowned athletic school, is also participating in the event so we ensured we provided the same support,” expressed Natalie Peterson, marketing manager, Mother's Enterprises Ltd.

"We wish our schools and all teams participating and representing our country all the very best," she added.
