Pulse, Sygnus Credit led gains during Tuesday's trading
Pulse Investments and Sygnus Credit led gains on Tuesday’s trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Pulse gained 23 per cent to close at $3.15 followed by Sygnus up 7.5 per cent to $13.00.
The top declining stock was iCreate down 11 per cent to $0.80.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 3,770.60 points ( 0.92 per cent) to close at 412,305.80, while the JSE Index advanced by 3,931.98 points ( 0.96 per cent) to close at 412,773.44.
The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 4,326.90 points ( 0.96 per cent) to close at 453,139.46 and the JSE Select Index advanced by 70.29 points ( 0.69 per cent) to close at 10,275.00.
Additionally, the JSE Cross Listed Index closed at 100.00 and the Junior Market Index advanced by 14.36 points ( 0.48 per cent) to close at 3,015.11.
The JSE USD Equities Index closed at 180.17 while the JSE Financial Index advanced by 0.60 points ( 0.58 per cent) to close at 104.19.
The overall Market activity resulted from trading in 57 stocks of which 29 advanced, 19 declined and 9 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 6,404,142 units valued at over $103,115,200.06. General Accident Insurance was the volume leader with 2,303,000 units (35.96per cent) followed by Supreme Ventures with 812,464 units (12.69per cent) and Wisynco with 518,941 units (8.10per cent) .
