Pulse Investments Limited led gains on Tuesday’s trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Pulse gained 10.00 per cent to close at $1.65 followed by Proven Investments Limited USD (Proven) up 7.89 per cent to close at $0.24. The day’s top loser went to Mayberry Investments Limited (MIL) down 14.41 per cent to close at $4.10.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,379.91 points (0.86 per cent) to close at 278,717.69. The JSE Index advanced by 2,282.19 points (0.86 per cent) to close at 268,018.37.
Meanwhile, the Junior Market Index advanced by 25.83 points (0.88 per cent) to close at 2,960.40. The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 8.17 points (4.62 per cent) to close at 184.98.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 40 stocks of which 20 advanced, 15 declined and 5 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 79,202,387 units valued at over $1,061,981,535.72. Sagicor Real Estate X Fund Ltd. was the volume leader with 76,479,720 units (96.56 per cent) followed by Carreras Limited with 958,423 units (1.21 per cent) and NCB Financial Group with 227,851 units (0.29 per cent) .
