Pulse Investments led gains during Wednesday’s trading

Pulse Investments Limited (PULS) led gains on Wednesday’s trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE). PULS gained 17.41 per cent to close at $3.17, followed by Ciboney Group Limited (CBNY) up 16.67 per cent to close at $0.14.
The day’s largest declining stock was Paramount Trading (Jamaica) Limited (PTL), down 11.11 per cent to close at $2.00 following flat results.
The JSE Combined Index declined by 834.11 points (0.22 per cent) to close at 377,031.88. The JSE Index declined by 636.58 points (0.17 per cent) to close at 372,130.36. The Junior Market Index declined by 22.64 points (0.70 per cent) to close at 3,202.80. The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 4.36 points (2.69 per cent) to close at 166.70.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 56 stocks of which 22 advanced, 29 declined and 5 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 6,217,173 units valued at over $70,810,676.27. Fontana Limited was the volume leader with 2,808,416 units (45.17 per cent) followed by Mayberry Investments Limited with 1,160,774 units (18.67 per cent) and Radio Jamaica Limited with 254,622 units (4.10 per cent).
