Pulse Investments led gains during Tuesday’s trading

Pulse Investments Limited (PULS) led gains on Tuesday’s trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Pulse gained 16.50 per cent to close at $3.60, followed by Berger Paints Jamaica Limited (BRG), up 7.03 per cent to close at $19.50. The day’s largest declining stock was 138 Student Living Jamaica Limited (138SL), down 20.73 per cent to close at $2.83.
The JSE Combined Index declined by 416.30 points (0.11 per cent) to close at 374,631.75. The JSE Index declined by 60.60 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 369,896.18. The Junior Market Index declined by 32.73 points (1.02 per cent) to close at 3,171.18. The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 0.12 points (0.07 per cent) to close at 165.85. Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 60 stocks of which 22 advanced, 31 declined and 7 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 12,964,849 units valued at over $87,080,802.05. Fontana Limited was the volume leader with 9,588,993 units (73.96 per cent) followed by Stanley Motta Limited Ordinary Shares with 284,016 units (2.19 per cent) and AMG Packaging and Paper Company Limited with 284,007 units (2.19 per cent).
