Pulse, C2W Music led gains during Monday’s trading
Pulse Investments and C2W Music led gains on Monday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Pulse gained 29 per cent to close at $3.00 and C2W gained 14 per cent to close at $1.45. The top declining stock went to Key Insurance down 25 per cent to close at $3.01.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 277.86 points (0.09 per cent) to close at 315,489.04, while the JSE Index advanced by 791.40 points (0.26 per cent) to close at 307,280.95.
The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 868.61 points (0.26 per cent) to close at 337,258.91. The JSE Select Index declined by 136.78 points (1.47 per cent) to close at 9,144.08.
Meanwhile, the Junior Market Index declined by 40.70 points (1.33 per cent ) to close at 3,021.51 and the JSE USD Equities Index declined by 2.81 points ( 1.83 per cent ) to close at 150.39.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 47 stocks of which 16 advanced, 29 declined and 2 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 29,771,959 units valued at over $234,085,819.60. Elite Diagnostics was the volume leader with 20,046,806 units (67.33per cent ) followed by Carreras Limited with 2,439,495 units (8.19per cent ) and WISYNCO with 1,873,893 units (6.29per cent ) .
