The St Andrew South Police have stepped up their search for the bus conductor who allegedly shot dead the minor with whom he was reportedly involved sexually in Seaview Gardens, St Andrew.

The cops are seeking the public's assistance to locate the 26-year-old man who is wanted for questioning in relation to last Thursday’s killing of the 15-year-old high school student at her home in Seaview Gardens.

Amar Fairweather, otherwise called ‘Lolliman’, also of Seaview Gardens, is wanted for the murder of Denise Hume, who attended Jose Marti High School in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

Hume was shot dead on December 21, reportedly after telling Fairweather that she was ending their sexual relationship.

Reports indicated that the teenager was shot in the head after an enraged Fairweather left her home and returned, following which an explosion was heard and he was reportedly seen running from the premises.

Hume was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Since her death, some residents of Seaview Gardens have been clamouring for the accused man to be speedily brought to justice, as he was a known resident of the community up to the time of the fatal incident.

Fairweather is being asked to surrender immediately to the Seaview Gardens police or the nearest police station.
