Proven Wealth donates school supplies to Salt Spring Primary

Students and teachers of the Salt Spring Primary School in St James, recently treated to school supplies, which were handed over by Omoi Green, Branch Manager for PROVEN Wealth Limited Montego Bay.

Green said during his handing over of the items “We are excited to support and to bolster the efforts of the School’s PTA as they continue to defy the odds and produce credible results.  Providing much needed tools will go a far way to motivate the students who need them.”

Filled with promising, gifted and bright students, the school population comprises of 70 per cent male, to date the school has achieved commendable success in exams.

Maizie Lawrence, Acting Principal for the Salt Spring Primary School is all smiles with Omoi Green, Montego Bay Branch Manager, PROVEN. Surrounding the two are students from the Salt Spring Primary, recipients of PROVEN’s One Drop Donation Drive.

Their Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) grades achieved a 90 per cent pass rate and their and Grade 4 Literacy & Numeracy Test have yielded an 899 per centpass.

Additionally, the school, excels in extracurricular competitions such as football and 4H Club, and have also done well in the Gleaner, Children’s Own Spelling Bee.

The One Drop Donation Drive done by PROVEN forms part of the company’s commitment to support communities in which they operate and to engage staff to give back wholeheartedly.
