Leading rider Anthony Nunes had a good day at Caymanas Park on Saturday.

Leading trainer Anthony Nunes' Jamaica Oaks runners-up, PRINCESS AVA and I AM DI ONE, won their respective route events on Saturday's 10-race card, chased home by stablemates, BIG BANG, and DONTAE.

PRINCESS AVA, second in the Oaks,  chased DYNA'S PRIDE entering the backstretch, before taking over three furlongs for a nine-and-a-half length win with apprentice Reyan Lewis, clocking 2:10.0

I AM DI ONE, who had finished third in last month's Oaks as a 1-5 favourite, faced older horses in an overnight allowance event at nine furlongs and 25 yards with champion jockey Anthony Thomas aboard.

Taking control at the clubhouse turn, I AM DI ONE afterwards disputed the lead down the backstretch with PAKMAN before pulling away entering the straight for a two-and-a-quarter length win in 1:58.3 ahead of DONTAE, who came forward a furlong out to snatch second by a neck.

Lewis' victory astride PRINCESS AVA moved him to 40 wins, six behind his peer, leading rider, Christopher Mamdeen, who went winless on the programme.

Apprentice Tevin Foster rode a two-timer, UNCLE WAL in the third and 11-1 upsetter, WILLODEEN, in the sixth.

Racing continues at Caymanas Park on Saturday.
