The Portmore branch of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank has won the “Joy Callender Branch of the Year 2017” award.

The award, which is named after a former Associate Director of CIBC FirstCaribbean in the Cayman Islands who succumbed to cancer, is based on sales performance.

Portmore emerged as the top branch among all the branches in Jamaica and across the 17 regional markets in which CIBC FirstCaribbean operates.

Nigel Holness, Managing Director, CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank (Ja) Limited said he was “very impressed with the explosive performance of the Portmore branch, which helped CIBC FirstCaribbean to achieve its business objectives in 2017”

“Our Portmore branch opened in November 2009 and since then has been blazing a commendable trail.  Portmore branch has delivered on our sales proposition – providing value added service to each of our clients that interact with us at that location.”
