Policeman's house destroyed by fire in St Mary, arson suspected

Fire believed to be the work of arsonist destroyed a two bedroom house in Jacks River, St Mary on Tuesday night.
The house, valued at around $10 million, was owned and occupied by a police officer assigned to a station in the parish.
Reports are that the cop returned home from work at around 9 pm to see his home engulfed in flames. It is believed that some forty 9mm rounds were stolen from inside the home before the suspected arson attack.
The Oracabessa Police Station is investigating the incident.
