Police trying to identify woman's body found on Mountain View Avenue

Detectives from the Kingston Eastern Police Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a woman that was found on Mountain View Avenue in the division on Tuesday, July 17.

The accompanying digitally-enhanced image from the police reflects the likely appearance of the woman prior to her death.

The body is of dark complexion, medium built, about 162 (five feet four inches) long, and was clad in a black brassiere, blue jeans pants, and is believed to be in its 30s.

Reports from the Mountain View police are that about 6:05 a.m., residents stumbled upon the body and summoned the police. On their arrival, the police saw the body with stab wounds to the upper section. 

The police are asking anyone with information who can assist them in their investigation, including to identify the body, to contact the Elletson Road CIB at 876-928-4200, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
