Police probe broad daylight killing of 'Bobo' in MoBay

The St James police are probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in broad daylight in Montego Bay, St James on Monday. 

The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Menlekey Walters, also called 'Bobo', of a Norwood, Montego Bay, St James address.

According to reports the police were alerted by residents about 12:45 pm that explosions were heard coming from a section of Montego Bay.

Upon their arrival, the police discovered Walters' body lying on Strand Street with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

He was later pronounced dead upon arrival at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.

No motive has so far been established for the killing.
