Police name two men as wanted for cop’s shooting in St James

Detectives from the St James Police Division have listed two men as being wanted in connection with the shooting of a police constable in Norwood in the parish on Sunday.

The wanted men are:

1.            Brandon Stora, 23, otherwise called ‘Cha Cha’, of Paradise Housing Scheme, Norwood.

2.            Steve Earle, otherwise called ‘Pedro’, ‘Monster’, ‘Forehead’ and ‘Shane’, welder of Hendon, Norwood.

Stora and Earle are wanted for the shooting of Constable Sheldon Murray on Sunday, April 21.

Brandon Stora and Steve Earle have been given until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 to turn themselves into the Montego Bay police.

The police have also re-issued an advisory that citizens are being reminded that it is not only an offence to harbour criminals and provide a safe haven for them, but it also places the lives of family and friends of the persons at risk.

Additionally, the police said anyone who may be able to help the two men to contact the investigators at the Montego Bay Police Station at 876-953-6191, Crime Stop at 311, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
