Plumber charged with killing St Ann higgler
The police are reporting that a plumber has been charged with fatally stabbing a man during a dispute in Pimento Walk in Ocho Rios, St Ann earlier this month.
The accused, 44-year-old Afri Sharpe of Pimento Walk in Ocho Rios, has been charged with the murder of 35-year-old Damion Henry, alias ‘Gaza’, a higgler of Spring Piece in Pimento Walk.
A court date is being finalised for Sharpe, the police have advised.
It was reported that on Sunday, March 15, at about 9.30 pm, Sharpe and Henry had a dispute on a playing field in his community, during which Henry was stabbed several times by Sharpe.
Henry was later taken to a hospital, where he died while being treated.
Following a probe, Sharpe was arrested and charged with the murder on Thursday.
