A tractor trailer carrying medical oxygen overturned at the St Ann entrance to the Edwards Seaga Highway on Wednesday morning.

Reports are that the driver was seriously injured and was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital for treatment.

According to Webley James, District Officer of the St Ann Fire Department, the truck was traveling towards Kingston and upon reaching the entrance to the toll highway at Mammee Bay, the driver failed to negotiate a corner and lost control of the unit.

Reports are that the truck slammed into guard rails and overturned, as is shown in the accompanying photos.
