Scores of Jamaicans turned out on Sunday at Straun Castle in Stony Hill, St Andrew to say farewell to popular fashion designer Dexter "3D" Pottinger.

Pottinger, who was stabbed to death at his Yarico Place, home in St Andrew, was remembered as a kind, loving and compassionate person.

Those who paid tribute to Pottinger also hailed him for his fearlessness and also for "being himself", attributes they said he encouraged in others.

During the event, which was attended by several Jamaican celebrities and personalities, a number of individuals broke down in tears, including his mother Estrie Williams.

Pottinger died on August 30. He was 34. See photos in slider below. And stay tuned for full coverage of Pottinger's memorial service on Monday.
