PHOTOS: 'Powerful' performances at charity event

Former government minister Dr Fenton Ferguson was among the stars at the annual Powerful Women & Men Perform for Charity event on Sunday at the National Indoor Sports Centre.

With ska music in the background, Ferguson performed a lively dance routine with Blossom Pickersgill that was greeted by loud cheers of approval by the hundreds in attendance.

Businessman Chris Dehring as DJ Papa CD; state minister Senator Pearnel Charles Jr; attorney Ian Wilkinson; Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall contestant Rankin Pumpkin; Director of Public Prosecution Paula Llewellyn; business leader Oliver Clarke; Island Grill founder Thalia Lyn; businessman Josef Bogdanovich and COK Sodality boss Aloun Ndombet-Assamba were among other notable personalities who hit the stage.

Veteran dancehall artiste Patra also performed and treated the audience to several of her hits including the Grace Jones cover Pull Up To My Bumper.
