Photos: JMMB clients sail away on the ‘Love Ship’ at mixer

The JMMB Personal Portfolio Management (PPM) Centre kicked off the festive season with its annual invitation-only client mixer, themed ‘Love Ship.’

The event took place at The Jamaica Pegasus in Kingston.

In keeping with the theme, First Officer, Joan Edwards, manager, PPM, welcomed the evening’s ‘cruisers’ and thanked them for the major milestones that JMMB Group has been able to achieve because of their partnership.

The achievements include having the largest ordinary share offer in the history of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE); build -out of our regional presence with the opening of a new integrated location in Santiago, Dominican Republic; the Small and medium –sized enterprises (SME) Resource Centre becoming a reality, with its first cohort of clients; and JMMB Group Limited’s acquisition of 22.5 per cent of Sagicor Financial Corporation. 

Veteran singer Freddie McGregor and saxophonist, Warren Harris kept the attendees entertained throughout the evening’s proceedings, which was complemented by spot prizes and other giveaways.

The event a family-like atmosphere in which the JMMB PPM Centre recognised and celebrated longstanding clients, in addition to presenting special awards to clients who have made a national contribution.

Following the formalities the guests in attendance were in for a culinary feast from the ‘Captain’s Delight’ food station which offered a wide selection comprising: an assortment of salads and pasta dishes, mouth-watering curried goat, scrumptious coconut fish with chili sauce, tantalizing barbeque pigstail, roasted jerk chicken, flavorful roasted beef and pineapple and honey ham, topped with an collection of delectable desserts.
