Renaissance Disco made a strong return to the Christmas party roster on Friday at Mas Camp in Kingston.

The veteran sound system, hosting a Christmas party for the first time in four years, didn't miss a beat as hundreds of party-goers left the venue satisfied after a musical treat.

Delano Thomas, lead selector and part owner of Renaissance, said the sound system felt it had a duty to music-loving Jamaicans  to return to the Christmas line-up this year.

“For the last four years the team has been engaged in some additional projects that did not allow us the time to dedicate to this party the way we owe it to our patrons to do," Thomas said in a news elease.

“We thought we would get this party started right without leaving party-goers conflicted about attendance to other events during the season. From a strategic standpoint we recognised that if people partied on a typical Friday night then certainly people would want something epic to do on the Friday before what is ultimately the most festive time of the year,” he added.
