A service of thanksgiving was held on Saturday for the life of former Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) giant, Noel Hylton, who served as the organisation’s chairman, president and CEO for decades.

The service at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in downtown Kingston was attended by a host of top national figures who all shared, alongside other Jamaicans, in the occasion of great tribute to the departed one.

Hylton was described as a visionary businessman and administrator, who was loyal and humble, with a great personal touch in his disposition.

He was also cited as having been of great service to others in general, a great family man, and a friend to so many.

Loop News captured much of the solemn but celebratory occasion, which are presented below.
