Photos: Deaf children participate in week-long summer camp

JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation recently partnered with with Jamaica Association for the Deaf & Hope United for a week-long summer programme.

The programme, which ended on July 27, catered to over 100 children – both members of the hearing and deaf community - and sought to promote to the social, spiritual and cultural development.

The programme saw the children with the assistance of volunteers and facilitators engaging in arts and craft, performing arts, martial arts, sports and Bible – related activities.  The JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation provided financial support to the initiative as part of its outreach efforts.
